I'd like to thank everyone who played For Greed and Glory during the Blackthornprod Game Jam #3. At the end of the jam, For Greed and Glory received 173 ratings and 273 comments, placing #70 in Overall, #81 in Theme, #243 in Visuals, #326 in Innovation, #55 in Sounds and #67 in Music.

Many of you left a lot of positive feedback and I'm glad so many of you enjoyed the game. This is my fourth game jam and I have done better than I did the last game jam so in my eyes this has been a success and I hope I make it into Blackthornprod's video for the jam. As a thank you, I have released a post jam version of the game that incorporates some of the improvements to the game that you guys suggested. Changes to the game now include:

• Powerups have a bobbing animation so that they stand out more from enemies
• The glow of the arena has been toned down so enemies  stand out more
• New music has been added so that every scene has a different music track
• Maximum number of enemies in the arena has been reduced from 75 to 50 to increase performance

For now I'll be taking a break. During the jam I rated 200 games which, while fun, was pretty exhausting. I do not have any concrete future plans to continue developing For Greed and Glory however, if I do, here are some things I have planned:

• Releasing a Performance Optimisation Update so that For Greed and Glory runs better on older/ low-end computers
• Releasing a Glory Update, which will include:
  • More Arenas/ Levels to play in
  • Glory Totems. A new currency that will be used to purchase cosmetic items from the shop along with gold
  • Adorian, The God of Glory / The Glory Mechanic. With the new arenas added in, players will be able to choose arena modifiers from Adorian that will make the arenas more difficult but in return, will gain more glory totems.
  • More powerups/items
  • More balancing to the Greed Mechanic
• Work on a mobile version of For Greed and Glory
